iPhone ambient sound and Mac headphone audio monitoring

Two things I can't find, and I want to make sure I'm not just missing a setting.

  1. On iPhone, is there any built-in way to see the current ambient sound level in dB? Health has Hearing > Environmental Sound Levels, but on an iPhone by itself it stays empty, and everything I read says the Noise app needs an Apple Watch Series 4 or later. The iPhone mics are clearly good enough (NIOSH ships a sound level meter app for iPhone), so it seems strange there is no first-party readout anywhere in iOS for people without a Watch.
  2. On Mac, is there anywhere that shows headphone audio levels, or a Reduce Loud Sounds limiter like iOS has under Sounds & Haptics > Headphone Safety? I can't find either in System Settings or Control Center. And as far as I can tell, hours of listening on a Mac never show up in Health > Hearing > Headphone Audio Levels, so that chart is only counting phone listening.

The second one bugs me more. If you mostly listen on a Mac, your hearing chart in Health looks fine while a big chunk of your actual exposure isn't being counted at all.

If the answer is just that it doesn't exist, fair enough. I've filed both in Feedback Assistant already. Mostly want to confirm I'm not missing something obvious. And if you'd want these too, worth sending feedback so it isn't just one person asking.

iPhone headphone safety features help protect your hearing by monitoring and limiting the volume levels when using headphones. You can adjust these settings in the "Headphone Safety" section under "Sounds & Haptics" in the Settings app.
