They appear to be correcting the issue, slowly. Many of my price histories for that date are now being populated with actual prices, but, for me, VTI still errors out. Try it with "JMUB" and see if it gives you an error like it does for me still. Could be a caching thing. Yahoo Finance (which is Apple Numbers' source data) had the same issue but fixed it within 24 hours.
You are not using the date "08/28/2026" which produces the error "Data for the ‘close’ attribute isn’t available for the selected symbol."
The same error occurs for any Mutual fund or ETF price history inquiry for August 28
My bad - I interpreted your post as indicating that it was stuck on that date and future dates between 8/28 and now weren't working.

You still haven't posted what the error message is. What does Numbers say when you hover over the error icon?
With what error?
Hover over the warning triangle and you should get some explanation as to what's triggering the error.
