ICloud Photos from 13 Pro iPhone are not received in Gmail.

I have an iPhone13 mini and I am on the operating system 26.6.1 I have always been able to send my iPhone photos from my iPhone to my email up until recently.

Now, the system allows me to choose my photos from my iPhone, scroll down to MAIL and then allows me to enter my email and allows me to choose from the various sizes and ultimately allows me to send the photos. Although it appears as if they have been sent the email is never received .

Bottom line, is the email is never received in my email. They are not in my Junk mail nor has anything changed within my email. I am sending and receiving emails as per normal from my Google account. I'm just not receiving photos from my phone

iPhone 13 Pro, iOS 26

Hello GranitaB and welcome to the Apple Support Community.

Since normal email is still working, it would be useful to determine whether the photo message is actually leaving the Mail app or whether the problem occurs later during delivery.

→ First, check what happens to one test message:

• In Photos, select only one photo.

• Share it through Mail and choose Small when the image-size options appear.

• Before sending, check the From field and confirm which email account is being used.

• After sending, open Mail and go to Mailboxes.

If an Outbox appears, open it and check whether the photo message is still there. If there is no Outbox, Mail considers the message sent.

→ Then check the Sent mailbox for that same account:

• Confirm that the message appears there.

• Open it and verify that the recipient Gmail address is correct and that the photo is attached.

If one small photo is received but several photos or larger versions are not, the attachment size becomes the main suspect.

Personal Gmail accounts have a 25 MB attachment limit, and large attachments may need to be sent separately or through Mail Drop.

→ One additional isolation test can be useful:

• Send the same single photo to the same address from the Gmail app instead of Apple Mail.

If it arrives from Gmail but not from Mail, the issue is isolated to the Mail sending path. If neither version arrives, the Gmail account or delivery filtering needs closer investigation.

Please let us know whether the test message appears in Outbox or Sent, and whether the same photo arrives when sent from the Gmail app.

🙏

Have a good day.

And one more thing…

Never forget to think different.

Important:

• Always make sure that your Apple devices have the latest available version of their operating system and that your apps have the latest available version so you can benefit from fixes and compatibility improvements.

• Your iPhone is already running iOS 26.6.1, which is the latest public iOS version currently verified. You can check this in Settings > General > Software Update.
