MacBook Pro cannot print due to expired certificate error
I am running a 2021 MacBook Pro using Tahoe 26.6.2 It is linked on my home WiFi to a HP Color LaserJet MFP M277 dw. I also run an iPad and my iPhone on the same network.
I am now unable to print from my Macbook, although I can print from other devices. I receive an error message "Certificate expired - check printer for details" I have disconnected and reinstalled my printer and run a Wireless Network Test report which shows no errors [Message is: Congratulations you have successfully set up your network] I have also run a Network Summary report which shows no problems. As noted, I can print OK from other devices.
Can anybody tell me what is causing this problem and how to fix it? At this point I don't know whether to contact Apple or HP (I suspect Apple since other devices work OK.) My understanding is that the "Certificate" relates to network protocols, but that is beyond my knowledge range! Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.
