I ordered an M4 in July, expecting delivery on August 28th. On August 25th, I received a message saying it would be delayed until September. I had no choice but to cancel. What kind of unreliable purchase was this?

According to Apple, the new Mac minis are available for pre-order and will be available starting on September 22, 2026.

If you had received a M4 Mac mini on August 28th, only to learn that the M4 Mac mini had been discontinued in favor of a new M6 Mac mini just three days earlier, would that have made you happier?
