Forgot passcode without data loss

What you ask is not possible.

You can set up a new Passcode......BUT.....you will lose all of the data on the iPhone.

There is no way to avoid this unless you have a current backup of your iPhone on iCloud or a computer.

If you do not have a current backup of your iPhone, surely you will want to start backing up your iPhone once it has been reset.......so you can avoid the next disaster.

The passcode is how the data on the iPhone is decrypted. No passcode, no decryption, no data.

If you cannot remember your passcode, you will lose all data that exists only on the phone. Once you enter too many incorrect passcodes, the iPhone will go into a state where the only way back in is to reset and wipe it.

Hopefully you were backing up your iPhone and/or synchronizing data to iCloud. You may also be able to restore some calendar entries and contacts by reconnecting your iPhone to email accounts with which those things were associated.

Without regularly scheduled backups your data is toast.
