There are several. It largely depends on what originals you need to scan, and how much you're willing to spend.
If you don't need to scan film (negatives or slides/transparencies), then you don't need a higher end scanner to get good results.
Epson has Tahoe compatible drivers for the V39.
Although, that's the V39 II, not the original V39. Drivers for your model here:
Give the updated drivers a try before spending money on a replacement.
Kurt, the update worked! I wish I was smarter about tech stuff, but it's never sunk in -- ever!! luckily, I have a son-in-law who is and he guided me through! Spent the rest or the day scanning 40 year old pics of my kids!
well, my Epson V39 doesn't seem to work anymore and I can't verify Canon will work, so I'm looking for specific brands/models in the $150 max range.
