If you are concerned that FCP does not have AI Assistants . . . Don't bother!
The latest version of DaVinci Resolve has AI Assistants, using Claude or ChatGPT, so I decided to give it a go . . . as you do.
I had some 3 or 4 minutes in the timeline so I asked it to create a one minute video from all the clips.
It took several minutes rearranging and cutting etc. and I was presented with a one minute clip which was basically one clip cut off in mid flow at 60 seconds.
I complained about this. It admitted that was what had occurred and promised to make a really good pacy edit.
It beavered away for 2 -3 minutes and I was becoming increasingly excited when it suddenly stopped as it had run out of credits. I was given the choice of upgrading from the free version or waiting until the 23rd. September when my credits for that process would be reinstated!!!!
So if anyone was worrying that FCP had not got AI assistants, don't bother as it seems it is only for the wealthy and I am poverty stricken.
I would like to know what it was going to produce . . .
