AirPods AppleCare coverage when moving from Austria to Canada
If I purchase airpods in Austria with the apple care program also, will it still cover the product when I return to Canada

Yes, potentially—but I wouldn’t treat Austrian AppleCare+ as guaranteed full coverage in Canada.
Apple’s current AppleCare+ terms explicitly say Apple may restrict hardware and accidental-damage service to the country where the product was originally purchased. They also say that service options and parts availability can vary when you request service in another country; if service isn’t available there, you could be responsible for shipping or other costs.
Your best bet would be to purchase the AirPods with the AppleCare+ plan when you get to Canada.
