Best way to share photos from another Apple ID on MacBook Neo

I recently purchased a MacBook Neo. My wife has her own Apple ID and would like to ask the best way to see her pictures on the Mac. I know she can create a shared album - is that the best way?

“The best way to see her pictures on the Mac” (which is using your Apple Account while she has her own Apple Account, which is a good thing) may mean:

The intent is for all (or most of) her many photos to be visible to you. Then presumably an iCloud Shared Photo Library is a good choice. Add photos to an iCloud Shared Photo Library on Mac - Apple Support
See an occasional photo or two of hers on your Mac. She can AirDrop them over to you. Use AirDrop to send items to nearby Apple devices - Apple Support
