Child's Apple Watch SE3 activity shows parent's name

One child's AppleWatch SE3 show's a parent's name when reporting their activity (closing rings, steps, etc) instead of child's name. Everything else seems to show the child's name correctly. What am I missing?

Apple watch is a cellular model, setup in family watches with the child's own AppleID.

@steve626, I checked the fitness app on my phone, it shows my initials in the corner.

Go to Settings on the watch. Do you see a name with an image (or a name with initials)? Click on that, I expect it will show the child's Apple ID. Then scroll down, if you see Subscriptions with a different name (like yours), then that can be because App Store purchases are designated for your Apple ID, not the child's Apple ID. The Apple Fitness app is an app that is downloaded from the App Store, so may be associated with your Apple ID, not your child's, and hence your name appears there.

Also, this link my shed some light. It is not about the Activity or Fitness app per se, but it relates to how the watches of children family members are set up to preserve identities properly.
