Someone else’s Apple Card and billing info stuck in Apple Pay

I created my Apple Account years ago on a borrowed iPhone. Since then, an Apple Card that belongs to that person has been stuck in AutoFill and cannot be deleted.

Also, when I use Apple Pay online, that person’s name and billing address sometimes appear even though those details are not saved in Contacts, Wallet settings, or the card’s billing address.

If I add my own billing info, mine shows correctly, but if I remove it, the other person’s info comes back.

Apple Support could not remove the card, and I’m currently waiting for Apple’s Privacy Team.

Has anyone had something similar and actually managed to fix it?

All I see is the crossed out expiration date. I don’t see a card number, name etc. Are you only seeing the expiration date?

Have you tried removing the card from this path,

iPhone > Settings > Apps > Safari > Autofill > Saved Cards > Apple Card > scroll down > Remove Card > what happens after restarting iPhone?

So, just to confirm, you do not have an Apple Card MasterCard account, is that correct?

When you tap the right facing arrow, what does the Apple Card show? Mine displays my account details, my name etc. What does you see (remember this is public, so no screenshots showing account information).

What iOS version are you using? I see iOS 27 listed. This could be related to the use of a beta version. The full release is expected tomorrow, per Apple’s announcement.

You’re saying an Apple Card Mastercard issued by Goldman Sachs bank is in your Wallet app?

Autofill is a feature offered in Safari browser as a convenience. Are you in Safari or your Wallet app or your Apple Account?

Correct, I have never had an Apple Card account. The Apple Card shown there belongs to the previous owner of an iPhone that was lent to me temporarily when I created my Apple Account.

When I tap the arrow, it shows that card’s saved details, not an Apple Card account belonging to me. The card is expired and there is no option that allows me to remove it. It also appears on my iPad signed into the same Apple Account.

I can see the data except the 3-digit number, it happens that in the screenshot those data were automatically hidden for security. I tried those steps you say but it doesn't work, in the end I end up in the same section without any option to be able to delete it.

It's in my wallet application, I've never had the Apple Card but I get someone else's autofill data. I tried everything to delete it and I couldn't

That’s not your Wallet app. Your Wallet app looks like this,

Where exactly are you? That looks more like the Settings app.

Jeff, I believe Staniphone16’s screenshot on their second post (that you asked about) is from Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay > AutoFill Cards.

Or you can get there by opening Wallet and tapping the three horizontal dots in the upper right, leading to the screenshot Staniphone16 presented just above this post.

It only appears as a suggestion for autofill, but it is not among my payment methods. I tried to swipe or look for a button to delete it but I couldn't find it.

What address and other information is in your “MY CARD” in Apple Contracts app? Do you have multiple cards? Is the person whose iPhone you borrowed in your Contacts app?

So when you go to Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay and scroll down to the Payment Cards area, you’re saying you may see some of your personal payment methods, but not this Apple Card, is that correct?

Because if the Apple Card were to appear there, you could tap it and scroll down and find “Remove Card”.
