Syncing iMac to phone

I’ll assume the landline calls are calling into an iPhone sharing the same Apple Account, and Continuity has been set up:

• Make and receive phone calls on Mac, iPad, and Apple Vision Pro - Apple Support

If there’s not an iPhone sharing the same Apple Account involved here, the landline has nothing to call as an iMac itself has no cellular communications hardware and no IMEI and no RJ11 connection.

If something else is (not) happening here, please add a few more details, and add some details about what you have tried.

Macs don’t answer calls.

A Mac might announce a call, but it won’t automatically answer calls.

Macs also aren’t connected to landlines. Not without external call-routing hardware.

Macs can participate in Continuity:

Is this Continuity call-handling what you are trying to achieve?

Any VPN apps, security apps, network firewall apps, cleaning apps, anti-virus apps?

What sort of wired Ethernet, or Wi-Fi network?

Why in the world do you think you should be able to get landline calls on your Mac?

That's not a thing.

Maybe if you actually explained what you're trying to do, you could get an answer that helped you...

I have the impression that you don't understand what a landline is...

A "landline" is a wired phone line. It doesn't have anything to do with a cell phone or computer.

You can't answer a landline call on a Mac because your Mac is not a phone.

You can't answer a landline call on your iPhone because your iPhone is not a wired phone.

Why don't you try actually explaining what you're trying to accomplish.
