I Pre-ordered an iPhone 18 Pro yesterday. I got the confirmation and a Wxxxx number on the last webpage. However, I have not received an confirmation email. If I look up the Wxx number on Apples order-status page, it says "The information you entered does not match our records." I have tried calling their support, but they are closed until Monday.
Is there a chance I still have a "reservation" or should I order it again?
I wouldn’t place a second order yet. That could leave you with two orders if the first one is still being processed.
Apple says the W-number shown after checkout is a web order number, and the confirmation email normally follows after the order is received.
Check your spam/junk folder and, if you ordered while signed in, check your order list using your Apple Account rather than entering the W-number manually.
Since the order-status page still doesn’t recognize it, I’d keep the W-number and contact Apple Store support when they reopen. They can confirm whether the preorder actually exists before you try ordering again.

It would be concerning to me. If you open the Apple Store App on your iPhone and check orders and you don't see one listed, you may not have a successful order for the phone. You should contact Apple directly for help. You don't say what country you're in, but if you're in the US, you can call Apple at: 800-MY-APPLE.
I successfully ordered two iPhone's when preorders opened up and received email confirmation of both phones moments afterwards. I can see that one is preparing to ship, the other isn't yet, but both are scheduled arrive this Friday, the 18th.
