Just bought my new MacBook Air M5 and tried iPhone mirroring but it keeps saying "Try again" despite wifi and bluetooth are on plus signed into same Apple ID too. Try restarting both my phone and Mac to try again by still the same issue.

I came here with the same problem and tried turning wifi and bluetooth off and on again. Didn't work BUT....I then remembered turning them on and off at the control centre is not the same as going into your settings and turning them on and off Try that. Hope it works for you. 🤞

To fix the "Try again" error on iPhone Mirroring, reset the iPhone Mirroring setup on your Mac or re-authenticate your iCloud account.
Thanks for the advice. I tried to reset the iPhone mirroring by "revoke access to iPhone" and restarted both the Mac and iPhone but didn't work. How do I re-authenticate my iCloud? Sign off and on again? Appreciate your advice. Thanks.

No dice, iPhone Mirror no longer functions, on 2 phones (17 Air and 11, both on iOS 27). Tried iCloud logging out, network resets, verified all settings, restart etc etc.....well done, Apple, another successful "upgrade"!
