My iPhone show iOS 26.7 under 'Upgrade to iOS 27'

I am also seeing the same issue, guys. This morning, when I tried to update to iOS27, it asked me to update to iOS 26.7 first then I did that. But, later on, while updating to iOS 27, I could see iOS26.7 is written in place of iOS 27.

Tried restarting the device as well but issue still remain as-is.

I did and missed that it said that it wasn’t iOS 27 until it was already downloaded and starting to install. Still have the option to upgrade but again took me back to the 26.7 download that it did initially then hangs in a refresh loop at the moment.

To clarify I did initially choose the 27 upgrade it installed what it says is 26.7.

It seems to do the upgrade all in one sweep. Even though the iPhone 14 Pro said it was installing 26.7 (despite choosing iOS 27 directly), the phone came back up as saying iOS 27 was installed.

OK, I’ll see what happens with mine. It’s now installing 26.7 despite choosing 27.

Not surprisingly, it's taking forever.

So I tried updating iOS 27 today, and I ignored iOS 26.7 and updated iOS 27 and after it finished updating, the features that were supposed to be apart of it are not there like the equalizer feature in the AirPods settings, the Siri app is not there and it still looks like iOS 26 Siri. So I am wondering what I need to do to fix it and get those features or if there is something that you (Apple) need to fix?

You can download the Siri app, but until you Sign up for Siri AI in Settings > Siri (Join the Waitlist), it won't work until you are granted access to Siri AI. It is being rolled out incrementally and isn't automatically turned on. And we will evidently be notified when Siri AI is ready for us to use.

Not everyone is in a hurry. I updated my iPhone and Watch on Monday. Once I got past the initial issue with iOS 26.7, I've had no problems. None. It seems the Liquid Glass is even more liquidy if I set it all the way to transparent. I love that. Siri AI is, so far, pretty impressive. I didn't get access to it until yesterday, though, so I haven't had a lot of time to experiment.

I updated my MBP last night. Other than a notification this morning that Siri AI is ready to use, I can't say I've noticed anything different.

I usually update right away because there are security updates. Additionally, I spend (way too much) time helping out here. I can better answer questions if I've already gone through the process. However, I am highly change-tolerant. Not everyone is.

If you are change-averse, don't update until you have a really good sense of the differences and how they might affect you.

You have two options:

1. iOS 26.7
2. or iOS 27

Choose yours.

So did I. For some reason neither iPhone 16 Pro nor iPhone 14 is not eligible to receive iOS 27 upgrade, just to be updated to 26.7.

On clicking 27 takes me to 26.7
