Will Macbook Neo handle Graphpad Prism and ImageJ?

Hey guys, i am a biology student and i use Graphpad Prism and ImageJ for the most part of my data analysis, do you think the Macbook Neo will be able to handle those softwares? I can’t really buy any other Macbook right now and i need a nice laptop. Thanks!

I'd be very careful of that Reddit advice. 8 GB is barely enough to run basic applications anymore. I don't think Apple has sold anything with only 4 GB in years. It sounds as if you might have been reading an old post.

Here is Prism's requirements page:

I get the sense that the software may be old as that page says MacOS 12 or later.

The notes for installing ImageJ are similarly dated:

This leads me to believe you should be able to run them on a Neo.

I didn’t find any guidance on the developers website, but i read on reddit that i should look for something with 4 to 8GB of RAM, and any standard dual-core or quad-core processor.

I am an undergraduate student and my university doesn’t really help us with those stuff, and my adviser has a Macbook Pro with the M5 chip (i think so) so he doesn’t really worry about those things.
