macOS Show/Hide Emoji & Symbols option not responding

I need some help here. I am on the following device:

Processor: 2.7 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7

Graphics: Intel Iris Plus Graphics 655 1536 MB

Memory: 16 GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3

Serial number: C0***HCC

MacOS Sequoia: Version 15.7.9 (24G830)

Built-in Retina Display: 3.3-inch (2560 × 1600)

Macintosh HD Storage: 74.71 GB available of 1 TB

Attached is a screenshot of the icon of the current input method on the menu bar. When you click on that icon, then there are options to switch the input method as well as the following menu options:

Show/Hide Emoji & Symbols

Show/Hide Keyboard Viewer

Show/Hide Input Source Name

Open Keyboard Settings

So, there is a bug with the "Show/Hide Emoji & Symbols" menu option. The menu is stuck with "Hide Emoji & Symbols", and I am going on clicking it, but neither is the Emoji & Symbols window opening nor is the "Hide" changing to show. I need this to be fixed.
