iOS 27 Siri beta cant find my Apple Music library playlists.

”Hey siri” or Siri app can’t locate my library playlists in Apple Music. Siri defaults to what it thinks is the next best thing (e.g. a band). I then asked Siri to provide me a list of all my library playlist only to be told that it can’t find any playlists in my library.

I beta tested and sent bug reports about this issue during the final 3 betas, including the Release Candidate, but obviously no change was made. Any solutions that I’ve found online do nothing, mostly coming from pre-iOS 27 issues.

One would hope that Apple would have learned from launching Apple Maps before ensuring that it worked. If the Siri app can’t work with native Apple apps, how can it ever be trusted to work as an AI tool. Overall, the new Siri app (beta) has been a huge disappointment - slow and lagging throughout.

Any suggestions? Thank you.

Again, thank you.

After my tail trying to figure it out, it turns out that it is all related

to “show content in search” in the Music settings - Search; I did not have it on. It was never an issue with Siri classic, but was obviously one with Siri AI (beta), hence why asking Siri to play playlists worked before the update and not after.

it is on now and seems to be working properly. Thanks again for your help.

Siri AI does both for me. When asked to view my Playlists in Music it lists the top 3 with a Show More button directly underneath and of course Siri AI will play any of my Playlists just like it always has.

I assume you opened Apple Music after updating to the shipping release of iOS 27 and accepted the new features by tapping the Continue button. The first time I tried, Siri AI said I had to accept the new terms by opening Apple Music.

If you are still experiencing trouble, I would recommend resetting your device, and particularly by using a computer so iOS will be reinstalled.

Thank you, but I was already signed in and approved again, this time with the iOS 27 public release. And Siri & Search Optimization has already been performed.

I just asked Siri to play my [name] Playlist in Apple Music and received: “I couldn’t find a playlist named [name] in your Apple Music library.

I then asked “Hey Siri give me a list of my playlists in Apple Music” and received, “I couldn't find any playlists in your Apple Music library.”

I can access the playlists in Music, and the request works with classic Siri.

iOS 27 Siri beta cant find my Apple Music library playlists.
