I would UNINSTALL (not just disable) all the above To truly UNINSTALL you will need uninstallers from each vendor. Then reboot into Safe Mode, wait about 15 minutes while in Safe Mode, then reboot normally and retest.

I have not heard that very many other users have these same issues with Safari. There are certainly millions of users now on Golden Gate. This makes it more likely that something installed might have worked fine with Tahoe but is incompatible with Golden Gate.

Try disabling all those Safari extensions. Quit Safari and relaunch the app holding the Shift key down—and compare your results.

I have the same problem. In Tahoe, I could open a Safari bookmark with my default browser by searching for it in Spotlight and pressing Enter (return). Doing the same thing in Golden Gate results either in nothing or Safari appearing for about 1 second in the menu bar, then nothing.

im having same issue. I have to get rid of all tabs just to get to the screen you posted.
