IOS 27 battery drain issue
After ios 27 update iphone 18 pm is draining battery fast. Might be even for iphone 17 series. Please fix this.

Last night? You have about 4 more days to go where you will see increased battery drain while the files are being indexed in the background. There is also Siri & Search Optimization being performed and updated object detection algorithms on all of your photos.
You should be using Optimized Charging and charge your phone all night, every night. This will give you the best chance for those processes to be performed quicker. Not only will you see increased battery drain during this time, but also increased heat and you may see some UI lag. This is not specific to iOS 27 and occurred on previous updates as well, Apple has even provided a Support Article to explain this and what to expect immediately after the update. That is also why you always see these same posts after every update.

Battery drain problem
Since the iOS 27 update my iPhone 17 pro max the battery drain is massive after a full charge this morning currently 38% left this is horrendous used to last the whole day Apple sort it out

Same issue on iphone 16 pro, battery draining fast, immediately after the upgrade to iOS 27.
My 17 Pro version LL/A after updating to iOS 27 battery drains so fast. And cycle counts too limit 85%, but it’s count 1 cycle after charge 85%.
Battery charge drained to ~60% between 6am and 10am. Same iPhone 15 Pro battery drain pattern each day since upgrading to iOS 27. 45% of a full battery used between 6am and 11:40am.
Don’t worry about saying anything doesn’t work properly on here, we all know IOS27 is a battery hog. You will just get it deleted.
Same here. Mine has been updated at least 6 days now and my battery still drains extremely fast and it already on optimum charging every night.
I even thought my Phone it self had a problem but my battery Health is still 100%. IOS 27 really is draining my battery so much!!!

I have the same issue. I own an iPhone 12 and 12 Pro and the battery life is terrible! Both phones are on 100%. I didn’t have that problem on iOS 26!
