Siri AI keep saying 'I’m having trouble with the connection' on my MacBook Pro M4

I am having the exact same issue: Siri AI works fine on iPad and iPhone, but not on my Mac mini (M4 Pro) or my M1 Mac MacBook Pro. Both devices check all the required boxes regarding compatibility but still nothing...

I hope Apple will release a software update soon to fix this.

I’m having the same problem on my iPhone 17 and it’s happening more frequently. I’m getting the same response on the simplest requests, eg: “Siri, Add bread to my shopping list.” and, on CarPlay, “”Siri, drive home.” I’m considering reverting to the original Siri until the bugs are fixed.

Well this morning I was getting set up for my call from Apple Support, opened the MacBook and like magic Siri AI was working as it should, I missed the call and spoke with another but they were like ok cool.

The only thing I did was leave it plugged in since Tuesday night. I did update my Studio and it updated with zero issues.

So maybe the Matrix actual exists. LOL

Updating to 27.0.1 had no effect for me. I've tried prompting Siri AI every day since macOS 27 released, and it's only succeeded twice. Changing networks, toggling VPN, etc. seems to have no effect.

My iPhone sees more success—Siri prompts fail maybe 15% of the time, although that's still an unacceptable rate.

I'm noticing that I get a mild feeling of dread whenever I think to ask Siri something, because these past two weeks have had me develop a strictly negative association with it.

My Mac, iPhone, and iPad are connected to the same WiFi. Siri AI works on both my iPhone and iPad, but not on the Mac. In fact, no matter which Wi-Fi I connect to, it just doesn’t work on my Mac.

Unfortunately, the update to macOS 27.0.1 did not fix this for me. :( Have others seen an improvement after the update?

Im also having this same issue. Update works fine on my iPhone 15 Pro Max, not so much on the MacBook Pro

I have an Apple Support call in the morning, hopefully it'll get resolved, either way I'll post back

There's no shame in doing that.

I reverted to Siri Classic on my phone because the delays are too impactful to how I use it.

I still have Siri AI beta enabled on my Macs.

You're right. The issue comes back after the Mac woke up from sleep. Kinda disappointed... 😪

Not really seeing many issues with the iPhone. Someone posted that it’s a sever issue with Apple and they are working on it. Hopefully this gets resolved soon.
