HMRC Basic Paye Tools has stopped working on Imac running Golden Gate previously Tahoe 26.7 not working on that also. Hangs on "starting application". All Copilot and web fixes don't work. Anyone else have this problem? Or a fix?

Hi, I have the same problem, re-installed app, added rosetta, just in case.
Maybe a problem with .gov website?
I have checked my logs, found the following:
"2026-09-26 19:03:30.265 - Warning: Timeout waiting for response from web server."
This may explain the above, but nothing on the .gov website to say their web server is down......

Since it was working before and now isn't working on OS 27 nor 15.8 that would seem to indicate that the problem is on the government server side, not the user side.
