I had the same issue come up on my iPhone 17PM. The issue or notification showed up with a number 1 on my Settings Icon. Thinking Apple had an update available I clicked on the System Icon and brought my Settings page with an option to upgrade or change my iCloud storage amount. I’m on the Apple One Premier plan and didn’t want to change my iCloud subscription plan so I just clicked on “Not Now” , but the number 1 still showed on my Settings icon. I was ready to call it a night, so I just did a shut down my iPhone for the night. Next morning on powering back up the 1 showed up briefly on my Settings icon, but within 15 minutes it was gone and hasn’t come back. No iCloud settings were changed. I can’t explain it, but this is what came up on my iPhone when clicking on the Settings icon. My advice is a shut down power off like I did and the issue or Settings Icon notification should fix itself.

Are you nearly or actually out of space in iCloud?

It seems to upgrade icloud subscription i.e. more storage/more expensive is the only way to “turn off” the notification….

Buy more storage unfortunately

Space where, exactly? On your phone or in iCloud? They are two completely different storage options.

OK. How much space do you have available in iCloud, exactly? And the same question for your iPhone.

I had this for a day. I have no need or desire to buy any more storage, so I didn’t. The notification disappeared of it’s own accord. Hopefully no-one actually bought storage they don’t need just to get rid of a notification???
