Contact names not appearing in Messages and Contacts on new Mac

Question

Contact names not appearing in Messages and Contacts on new Mac

I just got this mac (neo) and I synced everything to Icloud and stuff but when I go to contacts or text messages, none of my contact names are there. I have my texts and stuff just not the names. Do I have to manually add names to my contacts?
