Logic Pro plugins lag and show high memory usage after update

My logic pro lagging after I update it to the latest version.

In exact details, it is my Plugin lagging.When I open my plugins after opening my project.It always lagging for a while, or even not load the UI interface.That's My Device is M1MAX with 64GB memory.

And I also find my logic will use a large amount of memory even I didn't open any project after I close a project.if this has any implications for my plugin latency issues.Like this⬇️

You could restore an older Logic version from a backup that has worked without issues. And send a detailed bug report to apple: Feedback - Logic Pro - Apple

Not sure, what to discover in your picture. You can sort the apps by "Memory" and mark the apps, we should see.

Concerning your "issue". Quit the app(s), and sometimes a restart of your computer can help in most cases with memory issues.

Your system shows: macOS 27.0

Note that MacOS 27.2 is out with bug fixes and updates.

Apple says that Spotlight reindexing can take days depending on your device.

I'm seeing many reports of lagging all over the Apple Support Community, not just in Logic Pro.

I'm wondering if Spotlight reindexing is the cause?

In the Terminal app:

mdutil -E / will erase and rebuild the Spotlight index

Thank for your answer.

I regard the main problem is not the memory issue, but the lagging.It really make me furious.Though reopen Logic Pro is valid but I really need an enduring stable environment for my work.
