MacBook battery: Is it safe to use while plugged in?

Using while plugged in or not ?

I transferred from windows to Mac just a while ago so I am still not used to MacBook built and functions. With windows, I have to plug it in at all times but I do not feel worried but with Mac , I just am not sure whether if that is fine or not .

My device is MacBook Neo and it has been just 3 weeks since purchasing.

I have searched about this exact question but I have seen both types of comment - 20/80 and plug in.

I would like to know which usage is much more suitable for the MacBook and if using it while plugged in is alright?

And anything about whether I should still plug it in when the battery is at 100%

It is perfectly fine to run plugged in, running from the power adapter.

I have been doing so with all my MacBooks since 2011. They in fact are on the power adapter 99% of the time. No issues whatsoever.

If your battery is at 100%, you need to do nothing different as far as the power adapter goes. When the battery reaches 100%, the MacBook will simply stop charging the battery.

I would like to add, it is often RECOMMENDED to keep the MacBook plugged in while using it whenever convenient, and only run it off the battery when you need portability. that also helps in keeping battery charging cycles at a minimum.
