My HomePods 2 randomly starts playing music at max volume when I leave the house or in the middle of the night. How do I fix this? (They are new from the box)

if they are new from the box and you can still get them returned under warranty. I would try that. Otherwise the fix is a self repair if you google “ghost touch” for instructions. It involves taking them apart and disconnecting a ribbon from the touch panel.
