with tvos 27 powering up Apple TV no longer launches the last app used!!

as stated we are not apple

these forums are user helping other users like yourself, it's sort of going to a physical apple store and asking other customers their advice

I find this new “feature” annoying and wish they’d revert or at least give us a setting for it.

Not sure why others say they never noticed this because it has always been there before - if you powered off the ATV inside an app, that app would auto open on power up. However if you were on the home page and powered off, it would power on back on the home page.

All I can say is my Apple TV has never booted into the last app used.

Buy whatever device suits your needs, threatening to buy something else is meaningless.

Neither has mine, and if it did, I’d be looking for a way to turn the feature off. What a pain in the tush.

I've been subjected to the same annoying behavior.

Please fix this regression.
