iPad Pro on-screen return key position incorrect after iPadOS 27 beta

Hello I have an issue with my iPads on screen return key. It looks like it’s further up on the screen.

It happened when I installed the iOS 27 beta and since then it has not reverted back.

I have reset the keyboard, completed forced restart, and I have now put the iPad into recovery and completed a full reset and It has installed the latest iPadOS 27 from scratch, however the keyboard layout for the return key still looks off.

keyboard works as expected, but can’t seem to find a way to fix it.

It’s an iPad Pro 12.9” six-generation M2 running the latest iPadOS 27 firmware.

You have the English European keyboard turned on. The return key shouldn’t take up two spaces. I think the keyboard you want is the English American keyboard. You can add it in Settings, General, Keyboards.

This is a bug - that has persisted with the English (UK) Keyboard into the current production release of iPadOS 27.

You - and others that encounter this issue - should formally submit a Bug Report to Apple via the Product Feedback portal. For iPad and iPadOS:

When submitting your Bug Report, please ensure that you include details of your iPad model, installed version of iPadOS and full details of your selected Keyboard configuration within the body-text of your report. Don't rely upon the pick-list alone - as this often does not include the most recent version of iPadOS.

Unless a sufficient number of reports are submitted, Apple may not assign resources to investigate and resolve this issue.
