iPhone charging issue after iOS 27 update

I have a similar issue on iPhone SE2 iOS 27.0.1.

When charging via USB‑C PD fast charger, the hardware charges normally, but the system UI fails to refresh: no lightning icon in status bar, lock screen battery percentage stays frozen. The real battery level only updates after reboot.

I have the same problem with an iPad 9th Gen that has a newer battery, it charged perfectly before the latest iOS 27 update. Now after the 27.0.1 update it won’t wake up from a discharged battery to charge.

I am also having Exactly same problem. Today morning I updated my iPhone 14pro to iOS27 and after that my iPhone is not charging when I plugged in it gets charge and quickly not charging. This issue is only iOS 27 and right I am regretting to get an iPhone and also update to iOS 27.

Right now I am so frustrated and my work got stucked, what to do now I don’t know and when apple gives us new software update to fix this problem

Hi, i am using mopai kt393 which is listed on apple mfi devices list in web. My phone is 14 pro(ios 27) and cannot be charged via mopai kt393. I tried to use another phones : 14 pro(ios 18), 13 basic(ios 26), they were charged normally. Is this a bug of ios27? or new rules on ios 27? or mopai kt393 is actually not a mfi device? Anyone has this issue too?

I am also have iphone SE 2020 and when I am plugging in charger it start charging for 2-3 second then stop charging and I need to unplug and replug at least 4-5 times sometimes 15-20 times to make charging stable. This issue started occuring after ios 27 update before ios update I have not faced any such issue. I tried changing data cable as well as charger adapter but same issue.

Same problem, my se 2 have just got outside battery replacement (unknown parts) for about 1 month, evey things work well in ios 26.6, but when upgrade to ios 27, i encounter the same problem as many one here, battery is actually charge but not show out, the phone need to be restarted to update the current battery status

I have the same exact issue with the same iPhone model and iOS version, except that mine doesn’t charge from the laptop at all anymore immediately after upgrading. I normally charge the phone from my laptop as I work and only top up later if required but I now always also need a brick and a wall power point to charge. But even that is a pain to get it work sometimes!

Why will it charge correct when you open battery status before charging ? It fails only if battery status is not open and then exactly at the time when it will display the charging time. Bad code is the conclusion

I’m having the same exact issue with my iPhoneSE since the iOS 27.0 update and it doesn’t matter what charger I use—actually my old slow charger is the only one that currently doesn’t constantly drop the charge. My battery health says 97%.
