iPhone charging issue after iOS 27 update

I own an iPhone SE 2nd generation. Since I updated to iOS 27, my iPhone won't get a stable charge unless the cable is disconnected 4-5 times. The moment I plug it; the charging starts momentarily and then stops. But after 4-5 times (sometimes less), the charging will become stable. I have retried with different sockets, different charging methods, but no difference. This is an annoying experience, and I am looking for help to resolve this issue.

Yeah, my battery health is below 80% but then it was working perfect until I updated to iOS 27, that very strange.

That is not unusual. Your battery was failing before the update where you also likely have the Service message listed next to the battery telling you it needs replaced. Any additional demands on a failing battery, including those placed on it from an update, is going to have unexpected results.

Think of your car battery, it may be working just fine when driving around in daylight, but once it gets dark and you need to place those additional demands on it or if it gets colder than usual overnight, it may not start in the morning or even hold a charge. Of course it is not because it was dark or cold that caused your battery to fail, it was because it needed to be replaced earlier.

Had the exact same issue with my iPhone SE 2020 and it was super frustrating! But after updating to version 27.2, it's finally solved. As soon as I plugged it in after the update, the charging indicator popped right up and it's working normally again. Not sure if this will fix it for your devices too, but it's definitely worth a try!

Read the last few posts (you need to set your thread sort to Oldest) yes it was fixed in iOS27.2
