Facetime incoming issues on Iphone

For some reason, I am able to make and receive FaceTime calls on my Ipad but I do not get incoming notifications on my Iphone for incoming Facetime calls. I can make outgoing w/ no issue but whenever someone calls me via Facetime and I do not have my Ipad w/ me, I miss the call because it does not register on my Iphone. Any ideas what I can do to correct this?

I’d check the FaceTime settings on the iPhone first.

Go to Settings > Apps > FaceTime and make sure the same phone number and/or Apple Account email address you use on the iPad is checked under You Can Be Reached By FaceTime At.

Then check Settings > Notifications > FaceTime and make sure Allow Notifications, sounds, and banners are enabled.

If incoming calls don’t even appear in the iPhone’s FaceTime call history, that points more to the “reachable at” settings than to notifications. Also make sure the iPhone and iPad are signed in to FaceTime with the same Apple Account.
