Ultra 4 not recording steps

I upgraded to apple ultra 4 from ultra 1 yesterday and it’s massively under recording steps. I am normally at 8k by now and it’s only showing 1200. I have recalibrated and turned it on and off. Am gutted as I track my activity levels closely. Any suggestions as

Are you recording Indoor Walks? If yes, fellow users of Apple Watches updated to watchOS 27 report, that Indoor Walks are not recorded correctly anymore after the upgrade.

Outdoor Walks seem to be ok, calibrating the watch helped in some cases.

It is indoor but it was working fine on the ultra one yesterday. Started last night when I swapped watches. It is showing more steps in Apple health now. So I may need to turn it on and off a few times. So not sure if it’s related to that issue you have linked to, thank you for that. Just annoying a £700+ watch can’t do something as simple as tracking steps
