Logic 12 Score is broken

Just got back to using Logic after a move .. anyway ... Logic 12 appears to have broken the Score completely. Notes don't sound when selected, sometimes the name of the note is totally wrong select a C and it says it's a G, selecting no longer gives info just a position. I have a show to write and everything a mess!

I have just come online to see if others are having the same trouble I have been having with Logic's Score page. It has become unusable. Every time you enter a note or symbol manually the cursor display jumps to the end of the score – even tho the note you inserted remains hilit. You can’t use L or R arrows to make it move the display back to the note (which would be just about bearable).

When you have a bass clef line when entering a note it will often display the name of the note as if it was the equivalent note in the soprano clef, or otherwise, as shown here, quite randomly.

Generally, in the TOP stave of each system it wont let you alter the note vertically by dragging, only using the side panel or the floating display. The problem doesn’t seem to affect other staves within a system. When selecting notes it often wont select the notes ABOVE the stave at the same time as those WITHIN the stave, but seems to treat the top line as if it is a boundary.

I thought it was because I had an old Intel MacMini, so I bought anew MacStudio and it's no better. There is something wrong with the spatialisation process, how the processor recognises the selection made by the cursor.

These problems with Score page (nothing else) have existed for at least a year, and I have posted about it before but didn’t get any useful feedback, so I just assumed most people (& presumably everyone at Apple) don’t think it's worth bothering with. There have been no upgrades the score writing page since about v8; and it's a great shame because it used to be really useful.

I made a complaint directly to Apple and received a request to send them various files, which I did, but never heard anything back, nor did any recent upgrade contain a bugfix.

I attach some screen shots, but I can’t demonstrate how the score display jumps because I haven’t got enough hands!
