There are some important details missing from your question.

What year & model is your Mac..?

What macOS version is it running...?

What brand and model is your printer...?

What problems are you having with that printer...?

Generally speaking resetting the Mac Printing System will reset and solve most printing issues.

It is a Studio, bought in May last year, I am currently running the latest Tahoe OS. My printer is an hp smart tank 7060, which prints on colour from my iPad, however will only print in monochrome from my iMac. I hope this is helpful.
