Siri AI not working on iPhone, MacBook Air, Ultra 4 watch

I upgraded to Siri AI on all my devices: iPhone 16 Pro Max, MacBook Air and Ultra 4 watch. Now Siri AI is working poorly. I will verbally summon Siri and see the Siri indicator waving and then I ask to make a phone call.....and most of the time Siri disappears completely or I get the following message: "We've had a problem. Please try again".

Old dumb Siri never did this and always helped me with calls and written requests. I did call Apple support and we checked all my Siri and Accessibility settings (Did you know there is a Siri delay setting in Accessibility that can be set to lengthen the time Siri listens for a request? I set it to "longer" but still no change). I thought one explanation might be worldwide pressure on Apple servers slowing or rejecting requests due to overload.

Are others having this experience? Is there a fix for it? Any suggestions?
