Simply stating that you are experiencing a “network issue” does not provide enough information to identify the actual problem or determine its cause. A network issue could be related to your cellular network, Wi-Fi connection, or even the network infrastructure of your service provider.
For instance, if the problem occurs while using cellular data, it could be related to your carrier's network coverage, signal strength, mobile data settings, or a temporary outage. On the other hand, if the issue occurs over Wi-Fi, it could be related to your Wi-Fi router, internet service provider (ISP), network configuration, or internet connectivity.
It is also important to distinguish between a problem connecting to a network and a situation where the device is connected but cannot access the internet. These are two different issues and may require different troubleshooting steps.
Please provide specific details about the problem you are experiencing. Are you using cellular data or Wi-Fi when the issue occurs? What exactly happens—for example, does the connection keep dropping, is the internet unusually slow, are certain apps unable to connect, or does the device display an error message?
Without this information, it is difficult to narrow down the possible causes or suggest appropriate troubleshooting steps. The more precisely you describe the symptoms, the easier it will be to identify the likely cause and work towards a solution.

Connecting to Wi-Fi is the initial step, followed by establishing an internet connection.
However, it's important to note that connecting to Wi-Fi does not automatically guarantee an internet connection. In the event that you are unable to connect to Wi-Fi, the issue may stem from settings on your iPhone or the router/modem.
On the other hand, if you are unable to establish an internet connection despite being connected to Wi-Fi, the problem is likely related to the settings on your router/modem. In such cases, it is advisable to promptly contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP) for assistance.

Toggling off Limit IP tracking in wifi settings seems to get it to resolve the DNS. I've read that also forgetting your network will also sometimes work. I'm just confused why iOS will not use the manual DNS settings with Apple Relay, Connectivity assist, and Limit IP address tracking enabled.

I’m also having odd connectivity issues on my iPhone after updating to iOS 27. At first it seemed like a DNS issue. I added Google’s servers, 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. It worked for maybe an hour and then back to not resolving. I turned off connectivity assist. Issue still persists. It will sometimes work if I disable Apple Relay. This is happening on all my Apple devices. I managed to get my Mac mini fixed by using manual DNS settings. iPhone however will not resolve.
I was seeing a privacy message yesterday about encrypted DNS packets being blocked. That message has gone away after manually adding DNS servers. My current router settings are not configured to block encrypted traffic. I logged in to double check and verify. I feel confident it is related to DNS and iOS 27. All other devices are connected and resolving on my network. iOS is still acting up.

Not every issue an individual encounters on their device can be attributed to an iOS update. iOS 27 or later may have coincided with what you are experiencing, but that does not mean the issue was triggered by iOS. Coincidence in timing is not, by itself, evidence of causation.
If the update itself were the root cause, then every device running that same version of iOS would exhibit the identical problem. In such a scenario, the forums would be flooded with countless posts reporting the same malfunction, creating an unmistakable wave of complaints that no one could possibly overlook.
The absence of such widespread reports strongly indicates that the issue is not a general, system-wide problem with iOS 27 or later, but rather something specific to the individual device, its configuration, installed apps, settings, hardware, or another interacting factor.
In short: iOS 27 or later may be a coincidence in timing, but there is no basis to conclude that iOS itself triggered the problem simply because the issue appeared after the update.
iPhone 14signal goes to zero bars after a while when “allow mobile data switching” to off on 2 esim cards. When this settings is set to on the signal is full but without internet and it switch from one card to another. Theres 2 providers on sim card so the issue is not with providers or setting of sim cards.. everything worked well before update

I am experiencing issues with the internet after the last update. Quite frequently, screens lock as well. If I try to access General -> WiFi the screen locks. Extremely frustrating. Will there be a patch for 27.01?
Since updating to the newest software, my calls aren’t being dropped constantly. Verizon is my carrier and they can’t even stand the line so they can give me assistance due to draft calls.
