Why did you take away the Walkie Talkie App in WatchOS 27??

PLEASE BRING IT BACK!

I just wanted to express my extreme disappointment that WatchOS 27 eliminated the native Walkie Talkie app without any mention or warning. My sons have Apple Watches with data plans (not old enough for phones yet) and it was our favorite way of communicating with each other! It even allowed my youngest to start wearing one because of the ease of use (click the pic of one of us and talk). With how much Apple was mentioning “family” and “safety” with OS 27, I was hoping both the Walkie Talkie app and FindMy would be improved (groups in Walkie Talkie would have been great for families!). I never would have thought it would be silently taken away.

Very, very disappointed 👎

I’m upset too as this was a way for me to stay in contact with my grandchild while at the park! They don’t have iPhones but parent and my old Apple Watches they are too young for a iPhone!

Thank you Apple for not thinking about the younger children too who uses the watches!

Agree. Thousands of useless apps on that watch and the one which I like to use is removed. Apple come on!!! bring it back. Already filed the feedback.

Exactly this! My son isn’t old enough for a phone so we got him a watch with a plan. He does call us on it but we mainly used this app and now it’s gone. I’m so mad!
