CoinIn subscription and billing issue on iPhone prevents free app downloads

Hello! I need help with a CoinIn subscription.

I signed up for what I believed was a free 3-day trial from October 1 to October 4, 2026. After the trial, I discovered that the subscription involved a 12-month commitment of €24.99 per month.

I cancelled the subscription, and my iPhone now shows a “Renew Subscription” button. I have not been charged yet.

I am worried that I may still have to pay for the remaining 12 months. Could you please check whether I have any outstanding payment obligations and help me cancel the entire commitment?

I also cannot download free apps because I receive the message “There is a billing problem with a previous purchase.”

Please help me resolve both issues. Thank you.

You may have canceled too late. In that case you will have to pay what is owed and then try for a refund.

Click here and contact Apple Support through the "Get more help" or "Tell us what’s happening" section at the bottom of the page. You'll likely be told to let it go through and then request a refund.

Since you got that message, you do have payment obligations. The people on these boards are mostly other customers and can't check any internal data on Apple's servers.

Hello,

This is a user to user forum, you are not addressing Apple Support here, as such we cannot directly resolve the issue for you here

With that said, if you cancelled the free trial less than 24 hours before it was set to renew, Apple advises it may still attempt to charge you.

If that happened, and was unable to charge you for any reason, the charge will remain pending. There is no way to remove or cancel this charge. You must allow it to complete successfully to regain access to the App Store services including downloading free apps and updating existing ones.

Add a valid and verifiable payment method to your account, so the charge can complete.

Once it does so, you can request a refund for the charge.
