Trying to pinpoint the cause of this banner across my phone screen!

Have you put a widget on your lockscreen that requires location? If so then grant it access to location in Settings - or delete the widget.

Maybe the widget doesn't display if it can't get location data.

Go into settings and select wallpaper then hit the Customize button for the lock screen. It will show you what's on the screen.

Given you're on BT - if you're signed up to BT's roaming WiFi it will need location data to find them. Check whether you've got a BT WiFi app and whether it's got access to location. Or check in Settings under "Wireless" to see if you've got a managed network from BT.

1. Check Location Services

• Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services.
• Ensure Location Services is turned On.
• Scroll down the list of apps and check which app (such as Weather, Maps, or a widget) is triggering the location warning. Tap the app and set its access to "While Using the App" or "Always". 

2. Disable Specific App Notifications

If a rogue app or widget is causing the persistent lock-screen banner:

• Go to Settings > Notifications.
• Tap on the specific app that is displaying the banner.
• Under Alerts, uncheck Lock Screen or toggle off Allow Notifications entirely.
