If an iPhone is found to be bent, I would recommend the following steps before attempting to use it further.

1. Stop using the iPhone if the bend is significant. A bent enclosure may indicate damage to the internal components, battery or display.

2. Check for signs of battery damage. Look for a screen lifting away from the frame, gaps in the enclosure, unusual swelling, excessive heat, or a chemical smell. If any of these signs are present, stop using and charging the iPhone immediately. Do not press the screen or enclosure back into place.

3. Do not attempt to straighten the iPhone. Bending it back into shape may damage the logic board, battery, display or internal connectors. Avoid applying pressure, heating it or using tools to reshape the frame.

4. Back up your data if it is safe to do so. If the iPhone is operating normally, has no signs of battery damage and is not getting unusually hot, back it up to iCloud or a computer. If the battery appears swollen or damaged, do not power it on just to make a backup.

5. Have it inspected by Apple or an Apple Authorised Service Provider. They can assess the extent of the physical damage and determine whether the enclosure, display, battery or other components need repair or replacement.
