Iphone 18pro keyboard issues

I have the new iphone 18pro. Nice battery and nice camera, however, I am struggling with the keyboard. I have been an iphone user since they started with it and never had this much of an issue with it not recognizing letters pressed, crazy auto-spelling and bizarre prompts. Unless I type like a 2 year old, it does not work properly. I have tested the hardware with the help of AI and it seems the hardware is working, which points towards a software issue with the various pieces of software Apple has running behind the scenes. I have tried changing features, and even adjusting the accessibility function to auto recognize how i press the screen, but still no luck. I am so frustrated with this phone. I hate using it now due to this. i know this is a common complaint with Iphones. Any solutions? Ideas? Has anyone tried replacing the Apple keyboard with the Google keyboard on the iphone?

Reset Your Keyboard Dictionary

Over time, your iPhone builds a cache of your typing habits. A corrupted dictionary cache causes severe typing lag and bizarre word changes.

Go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone.
Tap Reset and select Reset Keyboard Dictionary.
Enter your passcode to wipe the corrupted cache and restore a clean slate.

2. Turn Off "Show Math Results" and "Predictive Text"

Two heavily resource-intensive text prediction processes run constantly in the background. Turning them off frequently eliminates immediate lag:

Go to Settings > General > Keyboard.
Toggle OFF Predictive Text.
Toggle OFF Show Math Results.
