We have 2 iPhones 14 & 16. They both share the older BMW key for M440i. Now also have a new 2026 BMW i3. Digital key is on iPhone 16 but when we try to share it with iPhone 14 it all goes well until on the 14 it says add key to wallet and get a message “There was a problem adding the Car Key to wallet. Any help appreciated.

Sorry that you and the salesman had a poor customer experience. But the first step in troubleshooting this issue is reporting it to BMW support and confirming that BMW device services are compatible with your device and software.
Hi, what did BMW support say when you contacted them about the issue?
I have not contacted BMW but the BMW sales executive could not set it up and had the same problem
