Apple Pay used an address not associated with me on a recent web order. I have never lived at or associated with anyone at the address that was used. Unfortunately, my order was shipped to this address before I caught it. I also checked my Me card and all of my addresses on my phone and none are this random address.
Did you use Apple Pay or Auto Fill? They are two different services and may provide different addresses.
Apple Pay requires authentication by double clicking the side button and verifying with FaceID or biometrics. Autofill only requires you click a button that might say Purchase or something similar. Which did you use?

When checking out with the merchant using Apple Pay you were presented with a confirmation sheet showing the items ordered, prices, payment details and shipping information. The shipping information supplied by Apple is the path I posted above. Before you can double click to confirm payment and authorize the payment you must confirm the information.
Do you have an account for rewards etc. with the merchant? Do you have a co-branded credit card associated with the merchant? Do you use a VPN or have a managed device issued by an employer, school etc.?
Apple Pay. The vendor’s customer service said that they have had several customers with the same issue.
That had already been done prior to this transaction. The address Apple Pay used was nowhere to be found. I have never been associated with that address.
