AC adapter/charger for new iPod touch.

I'm about to order one of the new iPod touches with the HD video camera and face time. I noticed it doesn't come with an AC adapter.

Before I go BUY one, can I use the AC adapter that came with my ipad? Or will that one fry it?

Or will I have to get a new AC adapter for this new iPod touch?

I don't have a laptop, and will be traveling soon, so I won't be able to charge he iPod thru USB computer hook up.

Are you sure about that ?

I'm currently sitting in a hotel room trying to charge my new iPod touch 4G 64GB with a original Apple USB Wall charger i used for my old 5gen 30GB iPod. It didn't work at all. First it starts charging but after 1-2 minutes it just stops. When connecting the iPod to my laptop it works just fine.

The Apple USB Wall charger has 5V/1A out, Model No. A1102 W005A050.

Also my car charger which worked fine for 5gen iPod didn't charge the iPod touch 4G.

Thx.

Seems there is confusion as to what you can use to charge the touch. Maybe I can help someone answer their questions. Here is what I am using. Its the charger that came with my wifes LG Env3. Its the type that the USB cable unplugs from it. I just plug my ipod usb cable in to it and it charges just fine. You can by them for like $7 on ebay shipped. It's 5.1v and 700ma. The one for my Motorola Droid works the same.
