iTunes 10 - where's the color?

It's not a matter of how they look. As many have said here, it's about clarity and ease of use. We aren't pros or we'd go blow a paycheck on Logic. There is nothing that iTunes 10 does for me that I can't already do with iTunes 9 (at least nothing that I "want" to do). So why not downgrade? If it ain't broke, don't fix it. I just wish I'd read this thread before I "upgraded."

Logic? What'chu talkin'!? iTunes isnt Logic Lite. Apples and oranges. Well, Apples and Apples, but you know what I mean.

Horrible Horrible Horrible. Agree that they should bring back the colours in Itunes. Looks awful. No new playslists synicing either.

This thread should be kept going like a long-term industrial picket-line until it can't be ignored any longer.

Are all Apple's products about to be released with the amount of thought given to iT10?

Does anyone else feel like the album art icons in the 'art+list' view look smaller than they used too?

Oh yes!

Though there is a setting for small, medium or large. Medium is the default. If you click the dropdown at the top of the column, you'll see the three choices.

Exactly and if people had looked (carefully) at the picture of the new iTunes UGI they may have noticed the lack of colour compared to previous versions.

See it, yes - but that doesn't mean we have to like it!
The lack of colour has more or less completely negated the point of the icons, which is to make them easily identifiable.
I've now turned them off, and gone for plain text in the sidebar.

I went back to 9.2.1.

Here's hoping Apple listens to its customers and pumps the life back into iTunes with a comprehensive software update.
