Web browser will not load youtube?

Hello,
After watching this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=79Sd1UBhbXo and a few other videos off of youtube about building a web application in xcode I tried it myself. I did all the steps said and everything seemed to work. Except, when I try to open youtube, it begins to load, then freezes and quits. Is there something that I did wrong or is this a known issue? The only thing that i saw was that they all say to open mainmenu.xib for the interface builder. However, i do not have that, i have mainmenu.nib? Could this be the problem?

Does anyone else have a web browser that they created that can run youtube? If so, please respond.

I believe I have found the problem. After trying to get it to work in a cocoa application and being unsuccessful, I tried it on a cocoa-applescript application. The only difference that I physically see is the change in the main menu's name from mainmenu.nib to mainmenu.xib. I did the same steps as before and it actually allowed me to load youtube, really fast. I am not sure the real reason behind this but im just glad I have gotten it to work.

The same thing can be said for the Flash plugin - it also needs to be installed. As a test, since other topic replies indicated that Flash normally doesn't play from ASOC, I uninstalled ClickToFLash and tried my ASOC WebView application. YouTube videos load and play just fine on my machine (I have Flash Player plugin version 10.0.45). Do Flash videos play OK from Safari?

There shouldn't be a difference with the ASOC application, as it calls the same Cocoa methods. If you already have a Flash plugin, it looks like it should be used automatically. I'm not sure about including the Flash plugin in your application, since it has its own installer.

Since YouTube works in Safari on your machine, you might take a look at your web view code. For comparison, the WebView example that works for me can be downloaded here. It was originally designed as a conversion example from AppleScript Studio/Objective-C to AppleScriptObjC, but it is a functional browser - it even runs a Flash game included in the bundle (sorry, that was the only one I had lying around).
