Template Content Has Less Pages Than Thumbnail in Pages '09

For example, when i scroll through the thumbnail of the "School Project" template, it has 4 pages including a Table of Content and a Reference page. But when i open the template, it only displays 2 pages without the TOC and Reference. The same applies for other templates. Do you guys have the same problem or something wrong with my installation disk?
