iTunes 10 Fonts OVER large?

iTunes 10, Windows 7 x64

Is it just me or, when I go to sync my iPhone, are the fonts on the summery page (and all others) all out of whack? They seem to be too large and are cut off at the bottom and don't fit within their boxes/buttons. I've tried changing the source and list settings for fonts in the preffs but, it makes no difference. This isn't happening with iTunes 10 on my Macs. Anyone else?

This is simply a lack of product testing or maybe Apple just didn't get time to fix it. They are aware of it now. I have my system fonts set to 125% - I have a large 26" LCD and I have the issue as well. iTunes 10 doesn't like that - it was not accounted for in the programming. This goes back to the days when font size switching first became available - many programs didn't like the change or even crashed. So give Apple some time and it will be fixed. Remember, the vast majority of iTunes users are on the Windows platform. One more thing, the search box in the upper right of iTunes loses it's nice border when you click in the box - again - appears to be something font size related.

The font size editor still doesn't solve the font issue for the device page in Itunes when your IDevice (for me an IPhone 4) is connected.

The issue is the DPI setting, which I have set to 125% in Win 7. For some reason it's not an issue in any other program that I use except ITunes, and even then it only seems to affect the Devices view.

I did send in a bug report...such as it is. Or as Apple calles it, "iTunes Feedback."

Of course, none of the catagories seem appropriate. I chose "other." I suppose maybe "Software and hardware compatability" might've been OK.

Under "What Apple devices do you have," iPhone 4 is not an option. I left it blank. I believe I did mention it in my comments.

In Windows 7 goto "Start > Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization > Adjust screen resolution > Make text and other items larger or smaller" and make sure size of text is set to "Smaller - 100%". If it is set to anything larger, iTunes 10 handles this in a clumsy manner of just truncating the text labels and other application GUI anomalies.

This is not a solution as it changes screen resolution/font sizing system wide not just in iTunes.

Anyhow, it's a moot point as I have moved everything iTunes related back to my Mac. iTunes on Windows is possibly the worst piece of software I have ever used.
